Scholarship Details

Scholarship is a grant or payment made to students to support their education. A scholarship not only lightens a financial burden but it is also a gift of opportunity. This year also Govt. M.A.M College received application from deserving students for Post-matric Scholarships for various categories based upon various criteria as mentioned in the Govt. notifications Nearly 660 students applied for various categories like central sector scheme of scholarships for College and University students (CSSS), Scholarship for minorities, Actual line of Control (ALC), Physically Challenged persons (PCP), RBA, EBC, OBC, SC, ST and Pahari speaking scholarships. For central sector scheme of Scholarship, Scholarships for minorities and ST Scholarship the students applied on line and those students who deposited hard copies alongwith relevant document were verified on line by the institution. For rest of the categories the application forms with attached relevant document were deposited in the concerned offices of the Social Welfare department.

Besides these national Scholarship, Applications were also invited from deserving students for college financial aid under various categories like Orphan students and children from broken families, handicapped/Physically Challenged, father of students suffering form chronic diseases, students with family income less than Rs.5000/- and between Rs.5000/- and Rs.8000/-. The college financial aid Committee received 45 application forms from the College students.

Enclosed Lists of various Scholarships for example PCP Categories, ALC Categories, EBC Categories, RBA Categories, OBC Categories, SC Categories, ST Categories, Pahari Speaking Categories, Merit Based (CSSS) Central Sector Scholarships Minority.

Student Welfare Council

A student welfare council has been constituted which is headed by a senior staff member to solve various day to day issues of the students. The council is an amalgam of both students. The council is an amalgam of both students and faculty thereby ensuring the holistic development of the college.
