Due to COVID 19 Pandemic the students are instructed to go through the e-content of their study material, they are required to stay at home and stay safe.

Facilities

Canteen

Adjoining the Recreation Hall, the college has its canteen. It is in the main campus and caters as tuck shop to the students and the staff at concessional rates. Offlate, Lipton Kisok has also been installed.

Medical Facility

To ensure the availability of basic medical facility for the students , a dispensary functions in the college under the supervision of an experienced pharmacist. This dispensary maintains necessary stock of medicines and other related items for First Aid.

Library

The college has a well- stocked library, with the collection of books ranging from encyclopedias to fiction, text books to journals and reference books, general awareness to competitive books. In Order to inculcate the habit of reading amongst the students, the library has a well furnished reading room. All the students, the faculty members and the non-teaching staff have access to the books and the reading room.

Library Rules

  1. Books will be issued to the student on production of the Library borrowers card cum identity card which is issued to him/her at the start of the academic session by the Librarian. In case the card is lost, the student has to bring the same to notice of the Librarian at once to avoid any misuse of the card.
  2. Books lost or damaged in any way shall have to be replaced by the borrower failing which double the cost of the books shall be charged. The borrower should satisfy himself/ herself about the sound condition of the book before leaving the counter.
  3. Books are issued for a period of 14 days only and fine of Rs. 1/- per day per book shall be charged after the due date.
  4. Reference books, rare books, specially reserved and current periodicals will not be issued for home use. These can be consulted only within the Library premises.
  5. Students appearing for the University Examinations shall surrender their Library Card/borrowers card before receiving their roll number.

Identity Card

  1. Every student on being admitted shall be issued an Identity Card cum Library Card which he/she will carry on his/her person at all times and shall produce on demand by any member of the college staff anywhere in the College premises.
  2. The loss of the Identity Card should be reported immediately.
  3. A new Identity Card shall not ordinarily be issued. However, after proper verification a duplicate card may be issued.
  4. Identity card cum Library Card must be returned at the end of each session failing which an amount of Rs. 100/- shall be charged.

Games and Sports

MAM College is renown for producing victors in sports. The college has a splendid playground for Cricket, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Handball, Basket Ball, and Badminton. Games are played regularly and every student is expected to play at least one game. After the completion of the admission process, college teams are announced on the basis of the trials and a rigorous selection process. Arrangements have been made for indoor games. Members of the various teams must report punctually for practice and for matches. The absentees will be fined.

Workshop

The college has a workshop for maintenance of infrastructure where the services of a carpenter, plumber and electrician are available.
