The college has a Gandhian Studies Centre Sanctioned by the University Grants Commission under the scheme of EPOCH MAKING SOCIAL THINKERS OF INDIA in the year 2006 and is running successfully spreading and promoting Mahatma Gandhi's message of love, non-violence and self-sufficiency. Another objective of the centre is to involve the youth of Jammu and kashmir in a more meaningful mode of abstaining from violence in a positive and creative manner. The Gandhian Studies Centre organises many programmes/activities like seminars, workshops, special lecturer series, summer camps, field activities, peace rallies, Gandhian Quiz etc.
