| The Inter-House Sports Competition at Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu commenced on 23 February 2026, marking the start of a week-long celebration of sports, teamwork and student participation. The competition will continue till 27 February 2026 on the college campus.Six houses — Chanderbhaga House, Vitasta House, Devika House, Tawishi House, Kunj House and Basanter House — are participating in the event. Students from these houses have shown great enthusiasm and readiness to compete in various sporting activities.The competition schedule includes a range of games such as Tug of War, Volleyball, Chess, Kabaddi and Cricket, providing students with opportunities to showcase their athletic skills as well as strategic thinking.Principal of the College, Prof. Archana Kaul, motivated students to actively participate in the sports events and emphasized the importance of sports in building team spirit, sportsmanship and discipline. She encouraged students to make the most of the platform and engage in healthy competition.The Inter-House Sports Competition aims to promote physical fitness, unity and holistic development among students, while fostering a vibrant sports culture at MAM College Jammu. |
