| An interaction cum felicitation programme was organised today on 16.10.2025 by 2nd JK Battalion of NCC in the auditorium of Maulana Azad Memorial College today at 12 pm . The ChIef Guest was Brigadier DN Pandey, Group Commander Jammu . He was accompanied by Colonel Navin Sharma , Colonel Yash Chibber and Colonel Kuldeep Kachru . Girls and boys totalling 170 who participated in the AITSC from all over UTs of Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh were present on the occasion. Brigadier DN Pandey distributed Blazers among cadets for their achievements. He interacted with cadets and motivated them to involve in all kinds of activities as part of NCC as well as their academic pursuits. Directorate of NCC , Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh was adjudged 3rd in girls and 4th in boys among all the 17 Directorates in the country. Cadet Sukhveer Singh of Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu represented the institution in the Advanced Leadership Camp held in Ranibagh, Uttarakhand recently besides 10 cadets of our college who participated in All India Thal Sainik Camp in Delhi. Principal of the College Dr Archana Kaul appreciated the hardworking cadets . She exhorted cadets to remain active both inside and outside the classrooms.
