Innovation Incubation Committee of Govt. MAM College Organises Boot Camp on Innovation & Incubation in Collaboration with IIM Team

Jammu, September 30, 2025:
The Innovation Incubation Committee of Government MAM College, Jammu, successfully organised a one-day Boot Camp on Innovation & Incubation in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) team. The boot camp aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students and equip them with the skills to transform innovative ideas into viable ventures.

The camp was graced by eminent resource persons from IIM and the startup ecosystem, including Dr Vivek Sharma (Chief Innovation Officer, IIM Jammu ), Mr Kanav Padha (Manager, DST-ITBI), Mr Abhishek Choudhary, and Mr Raman Singh (Founder, Blessing Pads Pvt. Ltd.). Their sessions provided deep insights into ideation, business model development, incubation opportunities, and the real-world challenges of building a startup.

In his address, Dr Sharma emphasised the need for young minds to embrace innovation as a driver of national growth. At the same time, Mr Padha highlighted the role of incubation centres in nurturing early-stage ventures. Mr Abhishek Choudhary guided students on entrepreneurial strategies, and Mr Raman Singh shared his inspiring journey of building a socially impactful enterprise. The event was observed by Mr Alankrit Mahajan, a member of the NGO LEAD, who appreciated the interactive and impactful sessions.

The Principal Prof Archana Kaul Govt. MAM College congratulated the Innovation Incubation Committee for taking this initiative and expressed hope that such programs would continue to motivate students to pursue creative and entrepreneurial endeavours.

The program proceedings were conducted by Dr Bharti Slathia, while Amitpal Kour delivered the formal Vote of Thanks.

The boot camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty, and students of the college, who actively engaged in interactive sessions and group discussions.
